Awarded to drilling members of the Army Reserve and Army National Guard
and is presented to any qualifying reserve components soldier
completing ten or more consecutive days of active duty for training
outside the contiguous United States. The Army Reserve, and Army
National Guard are the only branches of the reserve components which
issues an overseas ribbon separate from the active duty award. The Army
Reserve Components Overseas Training Ribbon is the reserve component
companion to the Army Overseas Service Ribbon.
